Happy New Year, Kastians! We’re back from the holidays with a whole new level of enthusiasm and we’re excited to share our latest progress update—both for Ka.app and our native token KASTA. Without further ado, let’s begin.

Here’s what happened behind the scenes for Ka.app in the last few weeks:
2FA Goes Live
You know we always prioritize your safety and security. We use battle-tested technology to protect your funds, and comply with legal requirements that prevent fraud, money laundering, and more. But to strengthen our measures further, we’re pleased to announce the release of two-factor authentication (2FA) on the Ka. Web App! This means you can now add an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, to your account.
We encourage you to activate 2FA for an added layer of security. With 2FA, entering your password will just be the first step of logging in and confirming transactions. You will see another prompt, which will ask for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
Debit Card
We know you’re looking forward to this, Kastians! We, too, are seated for this game-changer in 2024! Internal testing for our debit card will start soon, and all we can say for now is it’s coming along really well.
Once internal testing is complete, we'll reach out to some active Ka.app users for even more insightful and valuable feedback. Want the opportunity to test our debit card before others? Withdrawal Enhancement
A new withdrawal enhancement is in the works to make the process of withdrawing crypto or cash via IBAN even simpler for all users. This will allow you to save a recipient, making your future withdrawals to the same account much more convenient.
Signup/Login Code Authorisation
With our current signup/login authorization, users receive a link via email to verify their account. We’re working on modifying the link to a code for enhanced security and convenience. You will easily be able to type or paste it on our platform for smoother signups/logins.
Fee Optimisation
We’re exploring different ways to reduce our service fees to improve your Ka.app crypto journey. Stay tuned.
Login via Google
We’re in the early stages of developing an option for you to log in using your Google account. This will trim down the signup process as you would no longer be required to type in your email address and password.
KASTA Token
The KASTA token is a major focus for us this year. To kick things off, we’re in the process of adding more utilities for KASTA, such as a method to reduce in-app fees.
As of writing, KASTA’s use cases include locking them up on our platform to earn up to 15% APY and activate conversion fee discounts, using them as a form of payment for peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions, and trading.
