STARTED
Crypto was just too cumbersome to use on a daily basis… Over dinner in early 2021, Ka.app CEO Carl Roegind and CTO Sebastian Appelberg thought of creating a product that could make it easier for people to send, receive, and convert crypto, while contributing to mass crypto adoption.
They geeked out over crypto-related books, discussed blockchain networks, and solidified what product they wanted to develop – a crypto payment app that allows you to transact freely, conveniently and securely using just a QR code or mobile number. From there, they began growing the team, starting off by approaching CPO Hans-Herko Lusmägi in May 2021.
